Join us every weekend for the Old Town Literary Walking Tour, a stroll through downtown Key West, illuminating stories of writers that have called our island home. Inspired by David A. Kaufelt’s original literary walking tour, our new tour features the former homes and favorite haunts of writers, including Tennessee Williams, Shel Silverstein, Elizabeth Bishop, and Robert Frost, and highlights tales of our lesser-known local talent.

This tour was one of my favorite activities while visiting Key West. Key West was attractive to me because of the literary talent that has resided there over the years. This tour was not "touristy," but simply a walk around town hearing stories of writers and artists who had a connection to Key West. I highly recommend this tour if you want the backstory.

We had a terrific guide who was very knowledgeable. She was also very entertaining and lots of fun. We learned a lot and had a great time. The tour was just the right amount of walking.

My husband and I really enjoyed learning about all of the historic and literary charm that inhabits Key West! I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get acquainted with Key West, while also picking up some memorable quotes and a wonderful reading list! Sarah was a magnificent guide!
