Old Town Key West Literary Walking Tour

Overview
Join us every weekend for the Old Town Literary Walking Tour, a stroll through downtown Key West, illuminating stories of writers that have called our island home. Inspired by David A. Kaufelt’s original literary walking tour, our new tour features the former homes and favorite haunts of writers, including Tennessee Williams, Shel Silverstein, Elizabeth Bishop, and Robert Frost, and highlights tales of our lesser-known local talent.

Scott led the tour and was amazing! Even tho I was somewhat familiar with many of the authors and their lives in Key West I learned so much more. Scott was extremely well informed and engaging while sharing snippets of the authors’ works as well as relevant pieces of Key West’s history. The tour was a perfect ending to my last day in Paradise!

Scott was interesting and informative. He had lots of information to share about Key West that we have not heard on other tours.

I really enjoyed this tour and I'm NOT a literary nerd. Scott was a pleasure to stroll with and hear the stories of the literary glories of our island. I especially loved the color of the character's lives he painted!
