Paul our tour guide was very nice as were the girls at check in. We definitely saw Orcas and followed them for about an hour! Amazing! But beware.....we were TOLD we we would be on a comfortable tour boat of 30 people. That was not the case. The 30 person tour boat came and left and we ended up on a very small uncomfortable old 10 person boat. Was it because we used a coupon to book? Not sure but looking back we would refused to get on. The hour ride back and forth the bench very uncomfortable and back of boat diesel fuel smell the whole way. SO BE SPECIFIC!!!

What a wonderful day we had with Benson as our captain and Lindsay our naturalist. We had a rare and thrilling encounter with a male killer whale who was incredibly curious about our boat. He played with us and treated us to his whale song which was glorious. Back and forth under the boat, right alongside us, spouting and splashing. When the captain and naturalist were speechless and teary eyed, we knew this was a once in a lifetime occurrence. Both of them were knowledgeable, and obviously passionate about these amazing mammals. Even if we hadnā€™t had the encounter, this would have been a great trip spotting about 8 other whales nearby, part of a transient pod. Just an awesome day. Highly recommend!
