Our tour guide was amazing - her amusing anecdotes and stories attested to her great depth of knowledge about Philadelphia. Her personal stories were particularly interesting. Our only constructive feedback was that it didn't always run on time, which made things a bit hard when the weather was frigid.

The Big Bus Tour is fine for a generic overview of the city. The buses were not running frequently enough to allow for too many hop on/offs before it ended its run of the day. This is probably better as a summer time activity.

I love this type of tour on my first day in a new city. Guides give historical information on the city, the people, and the sites to see, are friendly and very willing to give advice about places to eat as well as how to maximize sightseeing opportunities. We got on and off all day so experienced various guides and thought Ray was the best of them all, but all were good. Buses were clean and not crowded.
