When we bought our tickets it also included an hour walking tour with a guy who dressed up and looked exactly like benjamin franklin and that walking tour was fantastic! The tour guide aimed the tour at all of our interests, careers, and where we came from! He was a history professors/actor so it was really phenomenal, we also loved the hop on hop off we went on it a lot over two days so had a number of tour guides some better than others we moslty used it to get around the city. We rode it around once the first day and then after that used it as transportation which worked well!

I definitely think this is the best way to see the major sites in big cities when you don’t have a lot of time. We had made our own way to Philadelphia by bus from New York so it suited us really well. The tour guides are all very knowledgeable and give great insight in to the history of the city.
