Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Did the whale watching and Mendenhall glacier tour on our cruise stop in Juneau. Whale watching was amazing. Russel, Charlie and Daniel were great and made sure we saw as many whales as possible. The bus drivers to/from whale watching and the glacier were also really good and entertaining.

Thank you Juneau tours for an amazing outing. We were so pleased with our tour. The meeting area was right near the ship and your representative was friendly and helpful. Bus ride to the boat was comfortable and the driver pointed out things along the way. We had Jessie, Torrie and captain Brendan taking care of us and sharing all Their knowledge with us. Thrilling to see Orcas and humpbacks, sea lions, eagles just so much fun. We never felt rushed . Boat was perfect....very comfortable spacious with inside seating as well as lots of viewing areas outside the protective seating area. We could not have asked for a better day. Thank you for such an amazing day !

The meeting place was easy to find, the bus tour to the boat interesting and the whale-watching unbelievable. Capt. Jordon found the whales, Charlie was fizzing with delight as she told us about the whales we saw and their histories, and Sam took care of the rest. From the boat we took another bus up to Mendenhall Glacier, with the driver sharing his knowledge of the area we were travelling in, and made sure we all knew there the return bus went from. A wonderful easy-for-us day in Juneau.
