Overview

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

This class was AMAZING! Raymond as the instructor made me feel comfortable and confident. He was patient, gave a history of the food and added personal stories. He is an experienced chef. It was worth every penny. If I travel to NOLA again, I will definitely take another class.

I learned a lot about New Orleans cooking that I will take home with me. Raymond was a knowledgeable and patient teacher. The kitchen is very nice and clean. And the food was delicious

I thought this would be something fun and "different" for my husband and I to do on our most recent visit to NOLA. We cooked with Chef Mark (100% recommend him if you can choose), and he keep it educational and entertaining, but also laidback. The 3-hour class goes by in a flash, and I promise you will leave full of delicious food, with some great recipes, and if you're lucky- a few leftovers. I would consider myself a bit of a cajun food snob, but this class exceeded my expectations in every way... top notch!! Hope we can come back next time we are in town :)
