We are the only Cooking School that does small intimate Hands On Classes in the French Quarter. Our class size ranges from 2 people to 10. Larger groups are welcome too. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends.

This class was a great course for learning how to make roux, how to make your own vegetable stock, and how to be efficient in the process. The dishes were flavorful, and everything was hands on, the chopping, and the stirring-we all had individual rouxs going. I will definitely use what I learned. Our instructor Preston was engaging and attentive. I had a wonderful time, and now my husband knows how to help make roux!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Chef Scott and his culinary expertise. He easily accommodated the beginner and advanced cooks. The tempo was adequate enough to keep up with while allowing for any questions. Everything was hands-on...which was delightful. He gave several honest non-tourist eatery recommendations during the class. Shared some of his favorite holiday recipes. An overall great experience, he was jovial but to the point. The wine and mimosas flowed, our dishes were Phenomenal! I now have the nerve to turn my nose up at online recipes for gumbo and roux. I bought his Cajun seasoning as a take away, money well spent!

We scheduled the Roux Class for a team bonding event. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves PLUS learned something along the way. The chef is AMAZING and the staff is SO EASY to work with. We loved our experience and can't wait to schedule another class. (Plus the food was absolutely wonderful).
