We are the only Cooking School that does small intimate Hands On Classes in the French Quarter. Our class size ranges from 2 people to 10. Larger groups are welcome too. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends.

We booked this cooking class as part of a visit to NOLA. While we expected to be part of a small group of visitors, we unexpectedly ended up being the only couple so had the entire kitchen and chef (Christopher) to ourselves. Chris as a terrific host. He began with a background on how Gumbo came to be developed here in the US and what ingredients were used and why. Then we began to chop and peel and cook the gumbo. Once done, about 30 minutes of prep, the Gumbo went on the stove to simmer while we made Shrimp etouffee. The shrimp was the first course and the Gumbo 2nd. We couldnā€™t have been happier or more impressed with the way Chris described and then demonstrated/taught the techniques of food preparation. I would highly recommend this activity to any group as a great way to experience NOLA. It is located in the French Quarter and very accessible to all main hotels.

David was an incredibly patient instructor. My wife and I enjoyed the instruction, information, and technique, and we walked away feeling super about the decision to attend the cooking school. Though some of the attendees were obnoxious, David maintained a professional demeanor and focused on the rest of the class. Thank you, David, for a great experience.

Amazing cooking experience complete with an explanation of influence of the history and culture of New Orleans. The food was amazing as was Chris, our chef.
