Like similar comments below, our car to JFK was cancelled 30 minutes after it was supposed to pick us up and without any telephone contact or explanation. We had booked it through Viator the day before. It is totally unacceptable to leave customers stranded in this way stressing about how to get to the airport yet poor service and cancellations seem to be a recurring theme with this company. You may be lucky and have the car turn up on time on time and make your transfer but I recommend you book with someone other than Carmel to vastly improve your chances!

After I had arrived and had my luggage, I called the company and let them know I was ready to be picked up and had my luggage. They told me there would be a 15 - 20 minute delay. After about 25 minutes, I got a call saying there was another delay and it would be another 20 minutes before I was picked up. After waiting over an hour, I again called the company and was informed that a car had not been assigned and they would not tell me how long it would be until a car would be assigned. I ended up getting an Uber that came showed up right away. If you decide to book this service after reading the reviews, just know that you are taking a risk and may be at the airport for hours waiting for someone to bother to pick you up.

I booked and payed a private pick up transfer in advance for 3 people both from the airport and from the hotel when we go back home. When we arrived I called the office of Carmel and the lady told me that the car will be at the pick up spot in 5 minutes. Worked out perfectly. When we go back from the hotel to the airpot only 1 one hour before the pick up I got the information that our flight was half an hour earlier. I called the Carmel office and asked if we can be picked up half an hour earlier. There was no panic at their side and they immediately rescheduled my transfer and picked us up earlier. So we arrived on time at the airport without any stress.
