San Diego Whale Watching Tour

Overview
Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

This was a first-rate tour. While we didn't see any whales, the dolphins were amazing. The reason this gets 5 stars though is because of the first-rate crew. They were knowledgable and went above and beyond when no less than three people threw up onboard, including on my wife's pants and shoe.

Experienced crew who guided us very well, explained details about the species and knew exactly what to do to find whales and dolphins. We managed to see a whale twice. Thanks! Great experience!

To be honest, i did not expect to see much in October. I knew going in October was questionable on seeing whales. To our surprise, we did see a whale, pods of dolphins, stingrays, Tuna and a flying fish to top it off. Although you sign up to see whales, I thought the highlight of our trip is to watch the dolphins play with the boat and swim right by our side. The crew was great, cared for a few who got sea sick and narrated where to look for the sea life. I personally wore a sea patch (highly recommended) for seasickness and did not get sick. There is drinks and snacks on the ship for purchase. October they promote free child with one paying adult.
