Guide, Kathy, was excellent - she knew her topic and was obviously well-known and respected in the community. Learned much more than we ever would have picked up had we visited on our own.

I did the Crusin the Castro tour in the 5th of March 2014 (yes it's taken me awhile to get back on here and rate it!) and I had a great morning. Kathy is very knowledgable about the area and the history and takes you to all the important landmarks you want to see and even took some pictures of me which was nice. I thoroughly recommend this tour if you are gay or straight because it's learning about the history of gay in this area and the Castro is very different to all gay districts around the world I have ever visited. It was the highlight of my time in SF. There is a LBGT museum close by to the end point and first Wednesday of the month it's free (otherwise it's $5) which although small, completes the Castro experience for me. We saw many sights of the Harvey Milk era and I would recommend watching Milk the movie before you go to check out this tour.
