Although I missed part of this tour when I joined the tour I found the guide to be very informative and she was happy to discuss with me what I had missed, great tour.

Fantastic tour. Tour guide Kathy was excellent - very knowledgable about the district and it's history, warm and very entertaining. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!

I took the your with Kathy yesterday and had a great time. let me open by saying that I was a little skeptic about the tour since I've been to the Castro many times and wasn't sure what else was there to see. Plus, forecast suggested rain and I thought this could either be a huge success or a big disappointment. Luckily, near the flagpole - there was Kathy! An excellent guide with many stories to tell about the neighborhood. The tour was fun, easy going, educating and added new sights on the Castro to my list. Not to mention that you could see from Kathy's enthusiasm how much she loves the neighborhood. And by the many encounters we had with other neighborhood residents, you could tell - they love her back. Some useful notes - the tour us interesting to both gay and straight visitors in my opinion. Also, the walk is not difficult and done in your own pace so it is suitable for older people and children. If it rains just bring an umbrella, it will not affect your enjoyment.
