We work with 25+ wineries so the route varies from day to day. We give you the full wine tasting experience by visiting a mixture of vineyards and small production tasting rooms.

Santa Ynez Valley

Sit back and enjoy the scenery as we drive into the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Learn about the history of the region, vineyards, geology and what makes the Santa Barbara wine region so unique. Enjoy tastings at 3 boutique, family owned and independently wineries.

I absolutely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience wine country. First class all the way. Iaon is very knowledgeable about both wines and the area. My new husband and I were visiting from Chicago and couldn't have chosen a better tour. Iaon picked us up right on schedule, catered the tour to our tastes in wine, had an incredible lunch menu, and was just a joy to spend the day with. Iaon clearly had relationships with each winery we visited, and the treatment we received was outstanding. I would highly recommend this tour and will absolutely do it again myself when we return to Santa Barbara.

My wife and I spent the long Labor Day weekend in Santa Barbara and were looking for a wine tour to go on, since we enjoy wine tasting so much. Upon doing a search, we found Rooted Vine and from the previous reviews, we decided to go with them. Best decision we could have made! We originally signed on for the group tour, but it was a very slow weekend there in Santa Barbara, so we ended up receiving the private tour. Iaon could not have been a more congenial and friendly host! He was very knowledgeable and personable and made the six hours we spent together just fly by. The tour was without a doubt a major highlight of our three-day weekend and we would take it again in a heartbeat! If you are looking for a quality wine tour experience in Santa Barbara, then look no further than Rooted Vine. Believe me, you won't regret taking it.
