It was really fun to do this tour with the family. It gave us a reason to walk around the city and learn about it's history.

After reading the book some time ago, I knew I would have to take this tour when I came back to Savannah. It just so happened that it was just me on this particular tour, and I'm sure Martin could have cancelled, but thankfully he didn't and I was rewarded with a private tour. The two hours just flew by, Martin's knowledge of the book and movie is extensive and he had answers to all my (numerous) questions. Martin made me comfortable from the get-go and at the end provided me with great recommendations of what to see and where to eat while in Savannah. If you haven't already, read this awesome book and then treat yourself to this tour!

This was the highlight of my trip, and the one thing I absolutely wanted to make sure I did while in Savannah. I had a well informed and articulate guide, who made the tour even more fun and entertaining. From start to finish, I learned more on the tour than I did from the book and the movie combined. A must for fans of both.
