Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview
Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

We loved talking with Cowboy John. He was very knowledgeable about riding and tending to all the animals. He made us feel like we were in the wild wild west. We will definitely return!

Great way to enjoy the beautiful area of Camp Verde and was cool to hear alot of history and facts from our guides along the way. Also was cool to see that many of the horses were rescues. My only complaint would be that there is not much really steering horses as they just follow the one in front of them which takes a little bit of joy out of the horseback riding experience.
