Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This was an excellent adventure with my family for our short trip to Arizona. It was my mother's bday and even with everything going on in the world the staff made this experience so easygoing and as memorable as possible. I had a party of 7 and my horse was really taking it's sweet time. The wrangler was able to keep me with my group and allowed my horse to trot a little which I was completely comfortable with and enjoyed. My older brother got a horse named Bambam that would just fart any chance it got. Staff was friendly and nice and just an excellent time :) It is an odd address to find, but after calling the staff who answered their phones promptly they were patient and advised us that we had taken a wrong turn and to continue down the street.

This was a amazing scenic ride with amazing employees! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. We saw zebras giraffes and other safari wild life on our tour, we also got to see some of the new baby cows that were born in spring, amazing people will come back!

The concierge at the Sedona Real Inn booked an hour ride for us, and the people at Wild Western couldn’t have been nicer. Our ride was delayed about an hour due to the earlier group getting a late start. We were encouraged to walk the grounds and see the horses, cows, llamas, etc. The ride was enjoyable, though the scenery was Arizona basic. I nearly fell off the saddle while going down a small hill but John was there to help. Jesus, John, Jada & Co. appear to be working hard to make the experience a good one.
