Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This was an enjoyable way to begin our vacation in Arizona. A few hiccups with one horse wanting to sit down randomly and another horse spooking mine but overall the experience was enjoyable. I loved petting the goats they had, they were so cute! I’d recommend!

10/10 would recommend to a friend! My husband was a first time rider and he felt safe, I grew up riding horses and they’d follow well to my body language if I wanted to steer of the beaten path for a sec. Our guide was awesome!
