Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

Great Guide with lots of local stories and history. Around the ranch and past the exotic animal refuge next door. Only wish we could have gone a bit longer.

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the flora, history, and land. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to do something different in Sedona. Clean bathrooms were available for use on site.

Our guide was very nice and informative of the area. Scenery was beautiful. Took the 90 minute ride and he used up the whole time. It was nothing rough any rider could enjoy it. Didn't see any animals, but it was thrilling to hear them.
