Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

It was a beautiful ride. The horses were very calm and great trail horses. Our guide was very knowledgable and fun! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice, relaxing ride.

We did the 1.5 hour guided tour. It was my kids and I. We had an amazing time. Our guides were excellent we were novice riders. I have never been on a horse and my kids have only done pony rides at petting zoos. They walked us through everything step by step. They were sweet as pie!!! I couldn't have been happier with my experience. I only wish I brought more cash to tip them. I only had $15 I honestly would have given them more!!!

My new husband & I came to Sedona Az for an impromptu honeymoon when our international trip was cancelled. This was the first experience we booked for the week and it was a great start to our trip! We had a good time chatting with our guides Jacob & Julian during the ride & saw a few of the out of Africa safari animals as well as some local wildlife. Being an experienced rider it was quite a simple trek but very relaxing & enjoyable!
