Some in the group were asking questions. Some of us were just happy to be there listening. But the audible gasps at seeing stars and planets through the telescope made it clear we all enjoyed the experience. Christopher and Ryan were excellent tour guides.

Richard and assistant Ryan are super fun guides. The sky was very clear and there were several falling stars. Saturn through the telescope was espcially beautiful - it looks like a bright star, but up close you can see the rings! Make sure to bring your glasses if you have astigmatism -- life will be easier.

I loved hearing information abut the stars we were looking at. It was great to have the tour leader and astronomer (Christopher) tell us all about what we were going to look at while his assistant were setting up the telescopes. The telescopes were high-powered and easy to look through. The night we went, there were some high clouds, which obscured some of the constellations at first. Christopher showed us some of the stars that were visible, then moved back to ones that had been covered so that we were able to see many stars and the Milky Way. Iā€™ve never seen the rings of Saturn or the 4 moons of Jupiter before! The tour was very well-organized, full of great information and worth very penny! It was one of the highlights of our trip to Sedona.
