Patient, considerate, and pleasant; best way I can think to describe the two guys that helped our group. A short walk from the shop to the beach, store has anything you need you didn't bring with you. Locker available, rent a lock or bring one and keep your stuff there, unless you have someone staying on the beach to watch it. We had 8 students and 2 instructors, so a 4:1 ratio, and they talked everyone through a couple runs each at least. Well, everyone but my wife and one other person who both said "no thanks" once we got out there, haha. Definitely need to rethink my gym routine yo, this sport takes some serious shoulder muscle endurance. Instructors did everything they could to keep us moving and hitting as much of the surf as possible to get some tries in. Small waves, but steady supply, good choice of spots to teach us newbies. Honestly I didn't make it up to my feet until the very last try while my kiddo made it on his first. I should ground him, knock him down a peg, lol. How dare he make the old man look bad. Great experience, good time, definitely recommend. Only downside is the kid wants to keep learning here at home in NYC so I guess he has a new hobby to pay for!

The surf lessons were so fun. It was our first time out and we actually stood up! They could not have been nicer or more supportive.

What an awesome experience for a first time surfing. The instructor ( Rae) was awesome and a positive attitude . . Definitely recommend. Big Dave surf.
