This is one of best displayed museums I have ever explored. If you are interested in American Literature, this museum provides a wealth of information in an interactive display. Parents and teachers should take children over ten to experience this golden opportunity to learn about authors and their writing. There are even interactive displays to test one’s own writing. For an educational experience in Chicago, this museum is affordable and definitely a winner!

I happened by chance to stumble upon the entrance to the American Writers Museum while on a visit to Chicago. An exhibition featuring Bob Dylan was a further attraction for me as a life long Dylan fan. The museum is interactively structured spelling out the history of American literature alongside the history of America. Highly recommended!

Very interactive and informative, even had a little mini library where one was encouraged to have a seat and just read for a bit. Can definitely recommend!
