Salem is nearly 400 years old and just like all of us, it has a dark side. An underbelly wrought with stories for the ages. Join us for our 90 min evening walking tour as we wander through the shadows and hear stories about pirates and pepper, secrets of the oldest cemetery in Salem, brutal murders, strange legal battles, curses, spiders, torture, and of course a ghost story or two. We invite you to be part of our story and learn why true history is Better Than Fiction. -All tour guides are licensed by the City of Salem and are professional storytellers .

The young lady was very friendly. However we couldn’t hear her and didn’t get to see what we thought we were going to see. For the cost, I sadly wasn’t pleased.

I signed up for this tour because they claimed to have more than just your typical witchy Salem stories. I'm pleased to say they spoke true! The tour wasn't too much walking - we stayed mostly around old town, and after spending the day around Salem learning its history, several of the tour stories were surprisingly fresh and new. We did cover the witch trials very briefly, but from a location and focus I hadn't heard before. The rest of the information ranged across time periods and highlighted much more of Salem's past, but, of course, all included that one important piece we're here to listen to during spooky season: M U R D E R. I would definitely recommend this tour both for the fresh take on Salem and the history of the town, as well as the well-researched information about what's true and what's myth.
