Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

Love, love, loved our sail on the beautiful Wind Dancer! I took a quick trip to Traverse City with work colleagues and were fortunate to enjoy the full Wind Dancer group experience with sailing followed by eBiking the next morning. What a fun couple days and great way to bond with coworkers. The Wind Dancer crew was professional, friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate enough to sail on a day when the owner was on board and participated in the program, and she was clearly passionate about the ship, Traverse City, and the guest experience. It is evident that every detail has been carefully thought-out and executed. I particularly enjoyed the local flair with knowledgeable staff (on both the sail and bike trip), who shared information and history of the area and have a true love for their community, as well as the commitment to sourcing local and supporting TC businesses with their selection of farm-to-table food and beverages. A must-do experience when traveling to Traverse City!
