It was a unique experience that we enjoyed, but it could use some improvements. For $200 per ticket we would have expected a better dinner and an overall better experience. The boat was smaller than we were expecting and pretty full of people. We basically sailed part way out into the bay and then just went back and forth across the bay several times for a couple of hours. It would have been nice to have traveled more around the bay and had landmarks pointed out and possibly some history of the area. You basically just sat around the boat wherever you could find a place to sit. It was crowded in the back where the padded comfortable seats were so we ended up sitting towards the front on hard uncomfortable seats. Dinner was a little underwhelming as well. The boxed meal was just ok. It was trying really hard to be high end, but it was just fancy looking and not that great tasting food. It was a challenge to hold onto your drink and your boxed meal while trying to eat it on a moving/tilting ship. It would be nice to have had some sort of flat surface or holder for drinks and your meal. Drink and food service was odd as well as the people serving were also adjusting the sails on the ship. Only they could get you drinks out of the coolers on the ship. They also had no red wine on the ship as they were afraid of it staining the deck. Also I don't believe there were actually cocktails as I only saw beer and wine being served.

Thank you for the time you took to share your concerns. It sounds like we failed to meet your expectations. I revisited the web page and description to check on details like the size of the boat and what we offer and it is all accurate. The captain made a decision based on the weather to keep the vessel closer to land rather than get out further into the bay in rapidly changing weather. Your safety is our main priority. The captain did talk about the weather that evening sharing what his concerns were. Captain Dan specializes in local history and geology interpretation. All of our food is farm to fork and put together by an artisan. Covid 19 caused us to pivot on food presentation to ensure guest safety. We offer locally made spirits as well as local soda, beer, ciders and white wines. We hope that you will give us another chance. As a small family business we pride ourselves in taking care of our friends and making them feel special. Thank you again.
