Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

We had the "A" crew on Thursday evening. Everyone was fabulous on our crew. We enjoyed our dinner which consisted of a sandwich of choice and a small salad and cauliflower. We had local wines and then dessert. You can be a part of the crew and assist with anything you would like or just sit and relax. We had a wonderful time. Thank you all so much!

This could literally not have been better. Great people, awesome service, beautiful night! Food was great, really good selection of beers and wines. At first I thought 3 hours might be a little long for the sail, but it was a perfect length. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and I surprised her with this….she was blown away! Thanks very much to the crew of the Wind Dancer for making this such a nice experience! Cheers!
