Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

The Wind Dancer was an amazing experience. The crew Trevor, Dan, and Derek were very informative and kind. They were able to accommodate everyone’s needs and answer any questions that anyone had. This will forever be an unforgettable memory for us because we got engaged! Thank you for this opportunity on the lake.

Booked this for my husband's birthday because he loves sailing. We both had a great time. Really great crew, beautiful sunset views. Food was good. It was fun getting to know our fellow shipmates!! A bit chilly after sunset, but lots of layers and windbreaker helped. So glad we had this experience!

The weather was not the greatest, cloudy and a few showers at the start, but the crew did a FANTASTIC job to make sure everyone had a great time! I highly recommend this trip, although I would go in July next time, instead of Memorial Day weekend!
