You must visit Top of the Rock with your voucher in advance of your actual desired time in order to secure your timed-ticket for later that day or the next day.

Why get tickets ahead of time? Then have us wait in line to get "other tickets". This experience was way too expensive for the value received

The views are spectacular from the different areas and levels of the observation deck. In my opinion, it is a must do whilst in New York and gives you sweeping views of every angle of the city. It is slightly overpriced for what it is, but inline with the city I guess (as it is not a cheap place to be). It was an easy experience and we purchased tickets from the counter on the day. You can pre-book but I do not feel like there is a need most of the time. I got some really good photos with my camera (these are stored on my computer). I’d recommend if for sure
