Totems/City Highlights/Wildlife/Ground Tour

Overview
We have two 13 Passenger van’s that can be booked out in small groups, big groups and or private charters that will pick you up on the docks and take you away from the busy city scene. There are many things to explore, and we want to make sure you get to see as much as you can while you are our guests.
Come explore the largest standing totem park in the world. Some of the totems have been here for over 100 years. They have a great gift shop as well.
Stopping at Creek Street is a popular destination to see salmon returning to spawn, with lots of unique shops to find that perfect gift. Learning the interesting history of the creek from its brothels, taverns, the fish ladder, and married man’s trail are just a few of the historic attractions that make the boardwalk a must-see highlight.
If you’d like to private charter the van/van’s you do have an option to customize your tour so, please contact us before booking to look at rates and talk about what you’d like to see in Ketchikan.

Once we depart downtown, we will drive out one of the two Totem Parks in Ketchikan. After 20 minutes walking among the Totems, we will head to Herring Cove to do some Black Bear Viewing we are in contact with other operators regarding black bears and if there are no recent sightings, we will cut off herring cove and go spend more time with the other attractions.
2
Saxman Native Village
Saxman Native Village has the largest standing Totems in the world. The area is filled with totems that are over 100 years old. The easy walking trails make this a wonderful stop to soak in Native Heritage and highlights the skills it took to carve out these beautiful works of Native art.
3
Creek Street
Creek Street with its high history, uniqueness and "Instagram" worthy picturesque opportunity, with a few risqué tales to tell, known as Ketchikan's red-light district in the mid 1920's there were over 20 brothels lining the creek, the "street" is actually a boardwalk on pilings, while venturing through the boardwalk you'll see talented local shops with art, seals and salmon swimming up to the "fish ladder" just above the boardwalk the city of Ketchikan had built a "ladder" to assist the salmon swimming through the raging waters flowing through Creek Street.

What a great tour, we saw a waterfall, bald eagles and a bear feasting on Salmon. Also a behind the scenes visit to Totem parks.

I had an amazing experience with Tyson during the City Highlights Totem Parks and Sightseeing tour in Alaska. He was punctual, ensuring that we made the most of our time exploring the beautiful sights. Tyson's knowledge and enthusiasm about the area added depth to the tour, making it both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend Tyson for anyone looking to have a fantastic and well-paced tour experience!

Tour operator canceled and we have not seen a refund as of yet. What can we do to ensure that we get the refund

Hello Ken S! We just canceled the tour on the 25th of August! 2 days ago… We told you it would it might take two weeks since you had BOOKED With TripAdvisor!!! We started the refund for TripAdvisor and they take care of that for you! Two days??? Really only 48 hours after the tour date?? We try our best to get TripAdvisor to issue refunds but like we tell all guests that book with them, we do not get paid until 30 days after the tour is finished and it’s from TripAdvisor not directly from the customer. We wish you the best with your refund issue with TA. In the future it might be best to make a phone call to the tour operator or to the booking company you have booked with instead of making a review. I would think it was self explanatory… We have a company that works very hard to provide a well rounded and caring service. I would say call us a bit it’s just way to late now, 2 days after the tour was canceled!!!
