This was an outstanding experience. Just visiting the Turquoise Museum is a treat. It is located in "The Castle", a unique, amazing piece of architecture in downtown Albuquerque. I would have paid just to visit The Castle. The museum has one of the largest Turquoise collections carefully displayed with clear explainations. The tour exceeded all expectations. Out guide, Jacob, is the grandson of the man who amassed this collection and Jacob has grown up surrounded by turquoise. His tour was entertaining and highly informative. What I enjoyed most was how he was able to weave the family history into the collection of tourquoise. We live in Albuquerque, have talked with a lot of shop owners and Native American artisians about turquoise. We found that we really knew very little about turquoise. We will return for more visits.

Thank you so much for taking the time to wrote a review. It was fun touring you guys around the museum, I enjoyed having you in. Talking about the family history and the displays that we have is one of the best parts of my job, enjoying a private guided tour with great people is my favorite. Thanks for coming in, we will see you next time. Jacob Lowry Turquoise Museum Executive Director
