Very sad but informative tour. Learned things i hadn't known prior to my trip to new orleans. The exhaustive research shows in each exhibit.

Before our trip we did a little research on what plantation had more of a chance of educational impact, without the disrespect to the slaves. The Whitney Plantation was one that focused more on the slaves rather than glorifying other aspects that shouldn’t be. So much to see the tour was about 2 hours and we could have probably stayed there another hour. Beautiful art! Wished a few other stuff could have been open like the big house, blacksmith shop. The girls at the gift shop were so nice. Bus driver was super friendly and funny.
