What To Expect

Whitney Plantation

As we make our way to the Plantation site guests will see such sites as the marsh of Lake Pontchartrain, and an elevated expressway going through the Louisiana swamp. Also see what the Corp of Engineers are doing to prevent the next Hurricane Katrina catastrophe. You will also see such plantations as Evergreen where they film Queen Sugar the new mini series on the OWN and 12 years a slave.

Brian Weber treated us like royalty!!! My Mom is 96 and me and my two sisters- all senior citizens. He answered all of our questions and more. Very informative, the only way to take a tour is with Brian.

We had such a pleasant experience to and from our tour. Our tour guide Brian kept us informed of a lot of the historical sites. . He has a great personality and kept us laughing through out our ride. I would choose Crescent City Tours and Transportation for all my transportation needs when visiting New Orleans.

Brian was an exceptional tour guide and driver. When most people choose which plantation to visit, one must consider the trade off between the better tour at the Whitney plantation, and the better aesthetics at Oak Valley (with a sub-par tour). What made Brian stand out was that after the exceptional tour at Whitney, he then took us unexpectedly to see the beauty of Oak Valley at no additional cost. It’s service like this that makes a person and company standout!
