Iā€™d purchased my tickets before leaving the UK. We found the hotel Row NYC easily and a queue was already forming. We were given our return timed coach tickets ( there are various times you can return) then we were guided to the bus. Our morning driver was great, well presented, friendly with lots of banter, explained over and over to us all about not being back for the 6.30 bus as youā€™d have to get your own transport back to NY. When we arrived he told us where we would be picked up at Woodbury, the stand number and where to get our discount booklets. ***Iā€™ve reviewed Woodbury on a separate review*** Our bus arrived to collect us, it was under a different name to what weā€™d been told it would be so that was confusing, there was lots of pushing and shoving to get on the bus as well! My paper work stated, as did our morning driver that we would be dropped off back at the SAME SPOT where we were picked up...... well after no interaction from the driver, just after we came out of the Lincoln Tunnel he came on air and said weā€™d be dropped off in the Times Square area. Ok we thought as weā€™d been here a few days and knew roughly which way to head......but he literally turned a corner and stopped and asked us to get off and then ASKED FOR A TIP!! I donā€™t think so!! One... he made no attempt to communicate with us at all u TIL he wanted a tip. Two.... we were dropped off no where near where we collected the bus from. Anyone that maybe didnā€™t know the area too well wouldnā€™t have known where the hell to go. It wasnā€™t a particularly nice part of town, the streets stunk of urine. And Three....you shouldnā€™t ask for a tip, this was definitely not deserved and I didnā€™t see anyone leave anything and I canā€™t blame them! I returned on the 6.30 pm bus on Friday 1st June, so Tour if America......you can find out who that driver was and tell him to buck his ideas up! And if a drop off Iā€™d to be changed maybe tell the passengers in advance.

definitely cheaper than shopping in Manhattan. Would definitely bring a travel bag(as others did) to cart around your purchases. there is very little undercover when it rains either outside shops or in-between. We got caught by the weather and the paper bags supplied with purchases didn't stand up to the rain hence refer to my first comment re bringing your own suitcase. Not super cheap as much as i expected especially after nz conversion but still some bargains to be had.
