The eight flags tour takes you on a historical journey through all of the locations that those flags have flown over the islands incredible history. The only location in America to have had this number of independent flags. You will travel through the historic downtown district and out to the original Fernandina. On our journey we will cover each of the flags, the period from which they flew and the historical significance behind all of those dates from a historical perspective.

Daniel Daly was a superb tour leader. I’m from a tourist town and have been appalled when I’ve overhead tour guides simply making up stuff. Shudder. None of that from him. He was informative and entertaining; no surprise given his heritage and his performing experience. The van was comfortable (and warm, on a chilly day so windy that the river cruises were all canceled).

Thank you for the 5 Stars and very constructive comments. We have always made facts based upon real dates and times in history our number one attainment. Having such an incredible history, Amelia should rank up there with the best a d the only way to achieve that end is to fly the flag with real history, depicting real times in America. I am so excited that I went on this tour. I wasn't sure what to expect since I was going solo, but it was totally worth it. The history of Amelia Island is so interesting! Dan D. did a marvelous job.

This was a great tour! Daniel knows everything there is to know about Amelia Island and presents it in a fun way. Would definitely recommend!
