Amelia Island

The eight flags tour takes you on a historical journey through all of the locations that those flags have flown over the islands incredible history. The only location in America to have had this number of independent flags. You will travel through the historic downtown district and out to the original Fernandina. On our journey we will cover each of the flags, the period from which they flew and the historical significance behind all of those dates from a historical perspective.

Our guide Beth was very knowledgable in the history of Amelia Island. She also had an excellent way of presenting the information making it very interesting.

Kevin was amazing with everything. He helped on the phone prior to our arrival on the island. His history knowledge is encyclopedic, the van is very comfortable, the audio system is superior. Our group of four will recommend this tour to everyone.

It was the BEST historical tour we’ve ever been on!!! Daniel, our wonderful Irish guide, was so knowledgeable and told the history the only way an Irishman can; with humor. The van was extremely comfortable and really enjoyed having only 6 people aboard. Gave us time to ask questions. Absolutely a must experience while on Amelia island

Thank you, Sharon for those incredibly kind words. It really was a fun tour and one of the advantages of having smaller busses is that smaller groups tend to interact more than larger numbers do! Therefore we generally have a lot of fun while discussing the incredible history that Amelia Island has to offer.
