We really enjoyed the tour despite the heat. Our airboat captain was funny and informative. He pointed out many of the wildlife we saw, like alligators, turtles and birds. The tour was very educational and fun. The boat tour was followed by a brief educational presentation on the importance of the protection of alligators and other wildlife. Pick up at our hotel was on time and a 50 minute drive each way. Great half day tour if you visit Miami.

Ideal for a day trip whilst being in Miami or Miami area. If you have a tight schedule and have to fit in a lot you can book this trip for the morning of the afternoon, easy to get there and I am thrilled by nature and water. It is a nice adventure and depending on the day and weather an exiting trip or just a relaxing drive where you simply sit down and watch, take photos and enjoy it to the fullest.

We recently reserved a trip to Everglades with pickup from a Miami Beach resort. All of our email confirmations noted a 9:30am pickup and, at 9:10, we noticed a missed call on our cellphone. After speaking with the transport company, they reported that their notes were for a 9:00am pickup and they had already departed (with other guests) for the excursion. Concurently, the tour operator being reviewed here called and tried to pass it off as a cancellation of the tour due to weather. When I explained that I had already spoken with the transport company and know that the tour is still operating and we simply weren’t being picked up at 9:30, the tour operator stated (in a panic) that they’d offer a full refund and subsequently hung up on me. After leaving a factual albeit negative review, the operator posted a response including my wife’s personal information in the hopes that we’d delete the negative review in order to protect our privacy. Buyer beware.

Our records indicate that our customer service team called you the morning before your tour advising you that the tour had been canceled and fully refunded to you due to forecasted lightning in the Everglades. The safety of our guests and guides is our priority and traveling by boat during lightning in Florida is in fact a safety concern. We are so sorry the weather related full refund caused so much anger with you and led in your unfavorable review without having actually experienced the tour. Sincerely, Vincent
