What an amazing culinary adventure! our guide Ulysses was so knowledgeable in La history, culture, and food. I've lived in LA for 15 years and explored places I had never seen or tasted before. It's an absolute must-do! Looking forward to future Culinary Backstreets tours.

LA's charm can require a curated approach, and this tour would be a great introduction for the uninitiated. That said, those of us who have lived in LA for years also can learn plenty of cultural information and enjoy delicious treats at local-owned bistros, tea shops, bakeries, and stands under the skillful guiding of Ulysses. This tour is on par with the several Culinary Backstreets tours I did in Europe. Definitely recommended.

Ulysses was an amazing guide (and a super fun companion too). Although I've lived in Los Angeles for over 50 years, I gained a new appreciation for our city, its rich cultural and culinary diversity, and its unique history. I was less familiar with the culinary opportunities in Chinatown so especially enjoyed that part of the tour, although it was all great. Also, despite having visited both Olvera Street and Bunker Hill numerous times in the past, I'd never visited the Avila Adobe or taken Angel's Flight. These stops added greatly to the tour.
