This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

What a great place. Beautiful dogs, friendly people and a super fun ride. We didn’t know this until we got on site, but the owner of this company has won 5 Iditarods at the age of 36. These people know their stuff. Highly recommend.

It was a sheer delight. The guides were knowledgeable, thoughtful and truly loved the dogs. It was evident that the dogs loved them back! Our specific guide, Sam, was patient, answered all the questions and helped our group understand the nuances, science and art of this sport. Highly recommend!

Our family of 6 adults had an awesome time on this adventure. It was very cool to learn the stories and history of the dogs and the Iditarod. We will definitely be following the race next time around. This is such a unique opportunity to interact with dogs that have actually run in and won the Iditarod. The trail was a bit sloppy after some recent rains, but this didn't detract from the experience. I would love to do this again in the snow.
