This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

Anya? Has done the Iditarod 3 times. Sam has her own dogs They are the best they are knowledgeable, thorough, safety conscience, and totally fun!

Yes, Anja, she's amazing and a rockstar has 30 of her own dogs and still comes to spend time with 60+ more. Haha!! Glad you had a good time with us.

Fantastic experience. Isaac was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our grandsons ( ages 16 and 17) mushed their own team. It’s something they’ll remember for a long time.

This was hands down the most fun tour I took in Alaska! You actually get to drive the sled and experience the dog mushing!
