This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

This was a last minute decision as we were looking for something to do on our last vacation day in Alaska and we are so glad we found it! it was a great experience and while the mushing was pretty neat to do it was more interesting for me to learn about the dog sled racing, meet the dogs, and see how passionate the people there were about the sport. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in town!

This tour was so much fun! We enjoyed feeling the power of the dogs pulling the sled. And mushing through the woods was fun! Chloe was fun and so interesting to talk to about Iditarod racing. We wish her the best. And we will be watching Isaac in March lead his amazing team in the race!

We had the best time on this tour. It was fascinating learning about what it takes to take care of and train champion sled dogs. Riding them was an extra bonus and super fun!
