This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

The tour was incredible and worth every penny. Getting to meet the dogs, puppies, Dallas, and learn about what goes into running an Iditarod Champion kennel was fascinating, especially when you get to be with the dogs every step of the way. The sledding portion was fun and dirty, and gave you a better sense of the energy the team has! The guides were incredible and we can not wait to go back. This is a must do for any trip north of Anchorage.

We enjoyed the personal hands-on experience with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The dogs were a joy to meet and the 2 week old pups were so cute! Watching the dogs enjoy the run and seeing how well they are cared for made the experience such a great time! Highly reccommend if you have a few hours to go love on some dogs.
