We have spent years exploring southern Utah so we can take you to the most jaw-dropping views and secret spots.
This is the Half Day Cathedral Valley tour option. A superb way to get a taste of the backcountry of Capitol Reef National Park without the time commitment of a full day tour, making it perfect for families or groups with limited time.

We will drive about 1.25 hours on dirt roads to the iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon and Glass Mountain, one of the most stunning, photogenic features in Capitol Reef, with plenty of stops along the way to stretch our legs and admire scenic views. We spend up to an hour here, then drive back the same way about 1.25 hours.

Capitol Reef National Park is simply amazing and breathtaking. The tour with Sleeping Rainbow Adventures made it even better. Our Guide Missy was exceptional, she was knowledgeable, patient and took so many great pictures. The meals provided were fantastic. Mason and Allison are the best host who made our trip so much more special and memorable. The park is great and the best way to explore it is with a guide because they can show and tell you so much more.

This is a must do while in Captiol Reef! We were able to explore Cathedral Valley with our knowledgable tour guide, Missy! We had a great time and learned a lot about the geology and history of the area. Truly one of the best experiences that we had throughout our entire trip to Utah.

We had a great experience with SRA . We had 4 adults and 3 kids (6,8,10) and took a 6 hour Capitol Reef jeep tour from 3-9 . We were worried about being in a car for so long but Allison tailored the trip so we had lots of stops for the kids to get out and play on the hills while the adults enjoyed the views ! We ended with a beautiful dinner by the cathedral of the sun and moon and headed back after enjoying the sunset there . Allison, having worked as a ranger and volunteer in the astrology dept was a wealth of knowledge about everything from geology to the stars . We enjoyed ourselves so much we took the astrology tour next ! Highly recommend ( also they are Covid safe , all guides vaccinated and masked which was a must for our group of healthcare workers !)
