4 Day Half Dome Backpacking

Overview

Our 4-day Half Dome guided backpacking tours are specially designed to make your journey to the summit as spectacular as possible! This guided tour kicks off in Yosemite Valley. From there we’ll hit the trail and guests will hike and camp alongside fabled waters like Sunrise Lakes or the Merced River. Our expert guides make your experience 5-star with delicious camp-cooked cuisine and comfort provisions around camp, while on-trail pointing out the lesser-known factual gems that surround you. The magic climaxes either on the final evening or the final morning, when you’ll climb the cables up Half Dome’s summit for a truly spectacular sunrise or sunset.

My girlfriend and I booked this trip as part of a longer tour of the west coast and wanted to see as much of Yosemite as possible. We've never been backpacking before but have wanted to try it out. We were worried about half dome before we went but as soon as we got there it was obvious we were in very safe hands. It's so good that lasting adventures supply all the equipment so you can just rock up. Our group were amazing and we all made it up half dome - even though my girlfriend struggled. Trey was so motivational and his sense of humour really brought our group together (his music and cooking were also awesome). Sophia's passion about the park and the flora and fauna was infectious and her knowledge was impressive! We loved it. If you're worried about it - email the lasting adventures guys. They really reassured us and we are SO glad we did it. Thanks again Trey and Sophia!

I did this trip solo for my birthday and it was truly unforgettable! Our guides Maddie and Riley were super knowledgeable, patient, and down to earth, and they created a great vibe on our day backpacking trip with people who had varying levels of fitness. I am definitely planning on returning and doing another hiking adventure with Lasting Adventures! Tip: TRAIN! And wear good hiking boots.

We had a great time on our hike to Half Dome. Riley and Maddie were very accomidating to all of us even though we were all at different hiking skill levels. They were very patient with us and knew how to motivate and encourage everyone to make it with a great attitude. All of our meals were great and no one ever went hungry. I would highly recommend Lasting Adventures and I can't wait to take my family vacation again with them in the future. Thanks for helping us have our best adventure with memories that will last a lifetime!!!
