Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour

Overview
Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

**Sleigh rides are optional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Dave. He was full of knowledge and such a pleasure to spend the day with. We saw moose, elk, bison, pronghorn, sheep, and mule deer and the most amazing scenery. Breakfast sandwiches were great. Lunch was at the wildlife art museum. Very good and a much nicer restaurant than we expected with a great view of the refuge. We didnā€™t spend a ton of time at the museum (our choice), but it was a cool building with some neat exhibits and artwork. We loved using the binoculars and scope to see the wildlife up close. We were glad we wore warm boots and thermals under our jeans to keep us comfortable with the numerous stops and during the elk sleigh ride. We never felt rushed or bored and highly recommend Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. What a great way to see the wildlife and sights of the area! So much better than us driving ourselves around trying to spot animals on our own!

My husband and I wanted to get out and see some Jackson hole wildlife while on our babymoon and we could not have been happier with our choice. Jeffery was amazing, full of knowledge and such a great guide. We wil definitely recommend to friends and family!

First our guide Mike was excellent very informative and totally helpful in every way . The park itself with a few exceptions was not that stunning . Maybe we were expecting too much but found it difficult to get too excited at catching glimpses of elk and bison Perhaps having been to Africa Game parks we were spoiled On the scenary with exception of the canyon did not compare with say Canadian Rockies Chilean fiords Iceland Glaciers or indeed Alaska . Having said that the area around Jackson the Tetons etc very very attractive
