We took the Big Bus tour bus for three days because it took us by nearly every attraction we wanted to see. Convenient to our hotel, dining and places we wanted to se and things we wanted to do. Always a great host with incredible knowledge of the City.

I have just returned from 6 days in Chicago and as this was my first visit I wanted to see as much as possible, we bought a 2 day ticket and it was worth it. We got on and off at each place that interested us and the first day we just stayed on and did a tour so we could see where everything was. On both days we had the most amazing guide- Miss B, she was brilliant! So funny, everyone was laughing but she gave us lots of information too. So glad we took the bus, it's a great way to see lots of different things.

Mom, dad and teenage son did the 2-day (premium) pass. Started off good when the ticket agent helped us out by charging us only for 1-day (I guess because it was nearly 2pm by that point)... so we were grateful for that to be able to save a few bucks. We rode on upper deck for 5 or 6 stops without getting off. It was kind of cold for June, but was okay with light hooded jacket. The tour was interesting, but not great, and we disembarked at Willis Tower stop for the sky deck tour. The next day we returned to Willis Tower to pick up where we left off. This is why I titled my review the way I did, because the guide really makes the difference! We didn’t know what we had been missing out on the day before until we got on the bus with Jack and Tyrone. Tyrone got us around safely, but Jack was the difference maker, and the reason why I decided to write a review. Jack was not only a local who was full of information and interesting facts about the city, but he was also entertaining and kept us engaged and laughing at his family-friendly humor. Long story short, we were glad to have hopped on Jack’s bus that morning, and were afraid to get off and miss out on his tour. I recommend BigBus, but remember the beauty of hop on hop off, and if you’re not happy with your guide, don’t be afraid to hop off and test your luck on the next bus. Happy touring!
