The first 75% of the ride was great. The driver provided a fun narration of the sites. Then we were required to board another bus. This driver did not provide any narration. We could have taken a much less expensive city bus for all we got out of the last part of the tour. I see in the other reviews that there was an audio tour available. This is news to me. The app was not helpful in locating the nearest hop on-hop off spot. Also, the live bus tracking was not working. I had taken this tour several years ago, plus have taken similar tours in many other cities, and this was my first negative experience. My recommendation for those visiting Chicago for the first time? Take the architecture boat cruise and then buy a guide book and explore the city on your own.

Never took the tour they still charge my card after I had canceled on time. Will not recommend Viator.com and will never book anything with them again. Very disappointed.

I enjoyed getting to see notable places in Chicago and hearing a little history of each place. I like that you can hop off, walk around a few blocks getting to explore and then hop back on. The weather was perfect for it too.
