Black Cat Historical Day Tour

Overview
Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War.  We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history.  From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

I am a very frequent attendant of Salem ghost tours and I can easily say this was the best one I have ever been on. Firstly our group was great and very engaging with the tour guide so the mood was easily set. Secondly, and most importantly, our tour guide was AMAZING. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He had great stage presence and told the stories with great enthusiasm. I thought I heard every story there was on these tours, but he managed to surprise me with at least 3 I had never heard before. He stayed on past the end of the tour to talk with us and trade a few personal experiences with really added a great closure to the evening. All in all this was hands down the best tour I have been on. If you are in Salem, chose this tour!
