This tour is just a short walk through great Chicago neighborhoods starting near Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile, and then heading into the Gold Coast & River North. Compare two American pizzas vs. two Italian pizzas to understand how pizza evolved as an immigrant food. Explore Deep Dish, Roman, Neapolitan, and Artisanal pizza in just a couple of hours. Discuss how each of these styles is crafted and the differences in their ingredients, baking techniques, and ovens. Plenty of pizza to eat, come hungry!

We will walk past Holy Name Cathedral after one of our pizza stops.

I would recommend anyone and everyone experience this tour!! It’s amazing food, great Chicago culinary history, and at least one handsome bearded tour guide (I think it was James 🤷🏻‍♀️)

We had four different pizzas , all were delicious. My favorite was the first one - can’t beat sourdough crust and cup pepperoni. Our guide gave us such great info on all the pizzas and general Chicago vacationing advice. Great tour!

A great way to look at the food history in Chicago and blast some myths. Great guide who has extensive knowledge and great relationships with the places visited, that’s clear.
