We knew this had the potential to bring about a tear or two. It absolutely did. This place is Sacred Ground and an absolutely breathtakingly somber and fitting tribute to those many many people lost during the senseless terrorist attack on 9/11.
The park staff is very helpful and makes sure everyone that is here to pay respects is just that; reflective, keeps noise levels at a proper level that is due this monument. They keep the plaza spotlessly tidy, the trees offer plenty of shade and only add to the museum and 1776 foot high observatory deck are well worth the price.
It is a MUST do and see whilst in NYC
